Crate is stenciled & hand painted.  Minor unavoidable flaws may occur such as bleeding paint. Wood crates are painted in a solid color. Intricate details of paint may unavoidably flake.  Crate has been spray painted with clear matte spray paint to seal crate to prevent chipping of paint.  The glue and overflow of glue that is used on these can cause the paint not to saturate the wood causing lighter areas.
